DouwParticipantHi all,
This weeks challenge is going to be epic! – test your driving skills to the max on a narrow hillclimb challenge.
Challenge starts today 20 August 2018 and ends at 9am Monday 03 September 2018
Vehicle: 134 Judd V8
Track: Lakeview Hillclimb Full
AND… for this week there is a R100 TakeAlot voucher up for grabs for the person with the biggest kahunas!
History
“Judd also designed engines for a number of sports car racing teams, including the World Endurance Championship, Sports Racing World Cup, 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the American Le Mans Series.
Both V8 and V10 Judd engines made their way into several different single-seater and hillclimb cars, most notably that of Georg Plasa’s BMW 1-Series hillclimb race car. It used Judd’s newest LMP2 engine, the 3.4-liter “DB.” If you can find a V8 with a better exhaust note than this, please, let me know.
Loved by fans across Europe for his 12,000-rpm racing machine, Plasa was tragically killed in a crash during the 2011 Coppa Carotti hillclimb in Italy. Judd is still in business today, headquartered in Warwickshire, England. It offers V8 and V10 engines for all sorts of customer motorsport applications, as well as service for other racing engines. Maybe keep it in mind the next time you decide to build a race car.”

Participantwoop woop! WD Paul – I just couldn’t find those extra couple of seconds to pip you, was a tough run.
I have no flipping clue how the okes in division 1 achieved those times. Unreal

JohannKeymasterSame here, I cant even begin to imagine how they do it, you have to be on it 100% of the time and there is so little room for error on this track, its really intense.
